How ReadyPick works
You set your standards once. We do the reading.
1. Tell us how you want to eat
Cooking oils, sourcing, gluten, dairy, soy, sugar, additives, freshness. Each one can be required or preferred. A required standard is a promise we keep: if we cannot show published evidence that a meal meets it, you will not see that meal. A preferred standard moves matching meals up the list.
2. Tell us where you are
Delivery areas vary enormously. A kitchen fifteen miles away may not reach your street, while a company two states over ships to you weekly. We only show food that can arrive.
We are careful about what we claim here. A provider who publishes an actual list of ZIP codes gets "Delivers to your ZIP". Everyone else — including companies advertising nationwide shipping — gets "Serves your area, confirm at checkout", because that is all their published information supports.
3. Say what you want today
Dinner, lunch, seafood, something quick. This is a passing choice and never changes your saved standards.
4. See what matches, and why
Every pick opens into the evidence behind it: the provider's own words, the page they appeared on, and the date we last checked. Anything we could not establish is marked as not documented rather than quietly omitted.
5. Order from the provider
ReadyPick does not sell food. You order from the company directly, on their own site, at their price.
What ReadyPick is not
- Not an allergy service. Matching on dietary exclusions is not the same as allergy-safe preparation. Many kitchens handle allergens on shared equipment and say so. We show you what they say; always read the provider's label.
- Not a health rating. There is no ReadyPick score. We match food to your standards and do not rank one way of eating above another.
- Not an inspection. We read what providers publish. We have not visited a kitchen or tested an ingredient.
